Nearly 20 Rubbish Lenses? What does ‘unimproved’ mean?
If you have nearly 20 rubbish lenses, be worried.
Well, I say ‘rubbish’. What I really mean is an ‘unimproved’ lens.
An unimproved lens is one of those lenses you have with less than 4 modules. Or that lens you haven’t published yet. Or both.
If you have 20 unimproved lenses, you can’t register any more lenses. Until you start improving them.
So to avoid this, don’t be a lens squatter! You’ll either have to do something with the lenses you’ve claimed and left untouched, or you’ll have to delete them and release them back into the system to be claimed by someone else.
And did you know that if someone creates a lens with less than 4 modules and then publishes it, it will appear to the whole world still as an unpublished lens?
There is a minimum expected. Don’t be toeing the line. Exceed the minimum.
And if you have claimed almost 20 lenses and done nothing with them, it’s time to stock the shelves!
The basic lesson is not to claim a lens and do nothing with it. Because Squidoo HQ has measures in place to stop you cluttering up the place with rubbish lenses.
