There’s no single answer to the question “what is the best twitter follower tool”

I wish I could give you a definitive answer, but I can’t.

The reason for that is simple. Because there are TWO that are the best! And they are both very different from each other.

The main Twitter Follower Tools

* TweetAdder
* AddNewFollowers

Here are some of the similarities, and some of the differences, to help you choose between them.

First, let me tell you a story. I have tried and tested pretty much every single Twitter Followers tool. I’ve tested them for following people, I’ve tested them for unfollowing people, for sending Direct Messages, for running automatically, for speed… everything. Believe me when I say: I have thouroughly tested the Twitter Followers Tool marketplace.

Why? Because I was looking for the best tool myself.
And I ended up finding 2.

Cost

With TweetAdder you pay once, based on how many twitter accounts you have
With AddNewFollowers you pay once per year, and you can use unlimited accounts

Software

TweetAdder is software you install onto your computer, and runs on your desktop
AddNewFollowers is a web-based dashboard that you can access from anywhere

Automation

TweetAdder software can be set to open automatically on your computer and run your daily follow/unfollow tasks
AddNewFollowers can be set to run daily, without needing your computer to be turned on

Flexibility

TweetAdder lets you add followers based on: Keywords, their location, Bio words, whether they follow or are followed by another user, etc
AddNewFollowers only lets you follow people based on keywords

Time Delays?

Both programs let you set a time delay when adding people, so it all looks more natural and human
Both programs let you unfollow users who aren’t following you, but only TweetAdder lets you wait a week after following someone before it unfollows them, to give them a chance to follow you back.

Conclusion?

Which of the 2 Twitter follower tools do I use most often? TweetAdder.

Why? Because it’s a lot more powerful in how you can customize who you follow, when you follow them, and when you unfollow them. I can see how over time AddNewFollowers will start to add new features to compete with TweetAdder on the issues I mentioned above, but at the moment, for me at least, I find TweetAdder to be more powerful. You really should check out both though.

If you’re the kind of person who’s always moving around, maybe going from one laptop to another, to another computer, to work and back, to an internet cafe, AddNewFollowers will be excellent for you because of how it’s web-based. You can take it everywhere!  It will even work on your iPhone or iPad.

I have no hesitation in recommending either, and I leave you to make up your own mind based on the FACTS above.
