Tags are very helpful. One of my first lens is out there and I am sure it had a lot to do with the tags I entered. I am still learning and what I have paid more attention to lately is my statistics and what it says about tags. Thanks for this lens. Great job.

Well, we’ve waited a month now! The suspense is killing me!

Tags maybe argued as of low value now search engines take the content into account much more than any metadate when indexing pages. But within squidoo there is still some good reasons to have tags, as they will help your lens get exposure on related lenses using the Discovery Tool.

Thems some mighty big claims you be makin there, theres gotta be a hitch because Tags are far from useless, they’re essential for getting good exposure within squidoo even if google doesnt use them.

I would love to know why you think tags are useless. They’ve always been difficult for me to write and the Google spider gets hung up on the html files that Blogger creates for labels.

SearchMe spiders the tag pages and I was shocked to find just yesterday some recently crawled tag pages on…..GOOGLE. No kidding.
