AGH! You’re LOSING Twitter Followers!
* Are you losing followers on Twitter?
* Have your total Twitter followers dropped?
* Want to know why you’re losing friends on Twitter?
The main reason you’ll lose followers…
Spammers!
Every so often Twitter will run through the accounts of every user, work out who the spammers are, and delete them. All in one go. Like a gigantic Spammer Sucker Punch.
So if overnight your followers have dropped, maybe even as high as 10-20%, it’s most likely spammers.
Either Spammers, or…
If however your follower numbers are steadily dropping, slowly and deliberately, you may have another problem on your hands. It’s most likely something you’re doing or not doing…
Here are some questions to consider:
1. Have I added a profile photo and filled in my Bio information?
2. Am I tweeting the same links over and over?
3. Am I talking too much about my sales page instead of my blog posts and other sites I find?
4. Am I interacting with NOBODY, like a hermit? OR am I joining in the discussions?
5. Am I tweeting so much that I’m clogging up other people’s homepage feeds?
6. Am I swearing or arguing with people?
7. Am I doing enough to get MORE followers?
Getting more followers
If you want to get more followers you could just use a tool like TweetAdder, because really there’s nothing you can do about losing followers if you’re doing all the right things, but there’s a LOT you can do to gain new ones.
TweetAdder is the kind of tool that lets you build an even greater follower list, so losing a couple of followers here and there is no big deal. You probably won’t even notice it.

P.S. TweetAdder has a free trial, so you can add up to 250 people, to see how it works. Use the trial. You can just uninstall after then, too, and they can’t stop you!

[...] The software sends them one by one, and you can even set a delay between one message and the next, so it all looks natural and human. [Twitter won't be deleting you as a spammer] [...]
