How many Ever.com Lenses Ranked In Google?

Ever.com Squidoo LensesLensmaster thefluffanutta has just found out that Google has now indexed 1370 Ever.com lenses!

This is good news for everyone who was worried why their ever.com lens wasn’t showing up in Google yet. And also good news for everyone who has an ever lens.

The first lens in the search results is for the keyword phrase cheapest ringtones ever. And if you do a search for that on Google you’ll see the lens coming up THIRD. And that is certainly a good result for the lensmaster. How high does your lens come for your main keyphrase?

But remember, every ever.com lens has a second URL.

1.  www.best.squidootips.ever.com
2. www.squidoo.com/best-squidootips-ever

So you could submit both to links to sites like digg, del.icio.us, stumbleupon, etc. And the squidoo.com URL (number 2 above) should be ranked higher in Google, at least for now.

So Google is on to what is going on over at ever.com, so you should be too. Create an ever lens now, and add it to the challenge Tiff is hosting at her blog. You can win a custom made lens from BuildMyLens.com.

Lewis :)

P.S. What’s your best ever lens so far?  I recently featured some great ones in the rotation at the Squidoo Explore page. Post your best in the comments and I may check it out.

There Is 1 Response So Far. »

  1. Is it a good idea to post both URLs on social sites? It seems to me that you’d be splitting the juice between both URLs rather than concentrating all the Googlejuice on one lens.
