Twitter: Automatic Follow

So – you’re in business, promoting your work online, and you want to use Twitter to reach more people.

Smart move 😉

Twitter is the latest ‘Social Media’ success stories, and riding the coat tails of its success is easy.

From this moment on your Twitter Motto is:

“Automate Automate Automate = More Exposure With Less Work”

The more of your Twitter Marketing you can automate the better. If you can set up a system that finds and follows the right people, sends out automatic direct messages, and automatically updates your Twitter feed when you forget to do it, you’ll have the makings of a pretty strong extra string to your Online Marketing bow.

TWITTER MARKETING REQUIREMENTS

Here are some of the things you need for your Twitter System:

  • An attractive profile
  • A web address in your bio
  • Blah blah blah
  • FOLLOWERS!
  • MORE FOLLOWERS!
  • AND EVEN MORE FOLLOWERS!

This is about achieving the last 3 in the list 😉

TWO MAIN WAYS TO AUTOMATE TWITTER FOLLOWING

1. Follow back everyone who follows you
2. Follow new people with a Twitter Friend Adder

Following Back

To automatically follow someone back on Twitter is simple. The entire process will take you about 5 minutes, and once it’s set up you don’t need to touch it again. You will need to join a website called SocialOomph, which is free, and enter in your twitter account credentials. You then instruct it to automate twitter following, press save. Simple. Your Twitter account will now follow all new followers without you having to do a damn thing!

Now that’s set up, here is how to get lots of new new followers, where you are the one initiating the original follow.

Following New

To become the Twitter hero, with billions and billions of followers [ok, perhaps not that many], you will need to follow many people yourself, in the hope they will follow you back. Whether you stay following them afterwards is up to you and your moral compass, of course.

Here are the steps:

1. Download a free trial of Tweet Adder
2. Log into the software with your Twitter account
3. On the Who To Follow page find a few thousand ideal customers, by keyword etc
4. On the Add Followers page select your daily limits, and press Start Following!
5. You can now go and put your feet up. Your work here is done.

Oh, not quite.

6. About a week later, go to the Unfollow page and unfollow some or all of the people who didn’t follow you back. A week is surely enough time for them to follow you back, so getting your Following numbers down is important. You don’t want to be one of those silly people who follows hundreds more people than follow them.

QUICK TIP:

You’ll want to keep the total number of people you follow the same as or below the total number of followers you have. If you start getting too carried away there would be a chance you could be marked as a spammer. Don’t go nuts.

Actually, this is one of the reasons you might want to unfollow your new people a week later whether they’ve followed you back or not. It’s mean, but certainly possible with the Tweet Adder software.

REMEMBER:

99% of people use Twitter for good, not evil. Don’t be in the hated 1%. Just be YOU.
