Hello there, my name is Lewis!

I live in the UK, and I found Squidoo in April 2006. Just one month before going to Sri Lanka for 3 months to work in an Elephant Orphanage and to teach English to school children. The trip was fantastic, and I arrived back ready to make hundreds of lenses. It was like I had 3 whole months for my brain to work on a ton of ideas for lenses I wanted to build.

Since starting my lens collection I have tried to learn as much about lensmaking as I possibly could. One thing I can tell you for sure is that there are NO secrets. Not a single one. So don’t be fooled into thinking certain people will share them with you if you pay them. Because there aren’t any.

As the sunscreen song wisely said, be careful whose advice you buy.

I’m not asking for any money for what I write. I earn over $1000 a month from Squidoo, so this blog is kind of my way of giving back as much as I can to the site and the community that provides me with so much.

In short, this whole blog is my way of saying “Thanks Squidoo!”
