4 Cool Squidoo Facts
Posted on Sep 21 2007
Some super cool Squidoo facts! I hope Megan can get some updates stats for me to post here, as some of them would definitely now be more impressive, but here are the latest numbers we have:
1. Squidoo gets over 10 million page views each month.
2. It is in the Top 500 most popular sites on the internet.
3. A lens is loaded every 1/4 of a second.
4. Yesterday there were 898 lenses created. And 900 the day before.
Pretty cool stuff if you ask me.

This is exactly what I am going to refer to when I try to convince people of the awesomeness of Squidoo. I’ve had to “educate” several people on different forums when they claim Squidoo doesn’t do anything for your business. I haven’t had the need to create an actual website for my freelance writing services because my squidoo lens is all I need.
Very Cool!
I think I’ll be hanging around here a lot. I’m a novice lensmaster but do have experience with internet marketing and would love to use Squidoo as a “jump-off” place for all of my websites.
Outstanding!
I am quite impressed by these statistics, particularly the charity contribution part. I hope my lenses have contributed in some small way and I will continue to promote them as best I can.
My #1 personal stat for Squidoo for me is that for September it is currently the #1 off-eBay source of traffic into my eBay store.
Yep – it’s beating out Google in sending traffic to my store!
